The Browning was founded by Jonny McBee as a solo project in 2005. In 2010 The Browning transitioned into a full band and has toured the world and put out five albums.

“This is a new era for The Browning,” said McBee. “This will be heavier and more intense than ever.” Intent on keeping this promise The Browning already has a string of releases planned for release with FiXT, the earliest hitting the airwaves in late September.

The Browning has undergone a transformation, embracing a “new era” that promises to be bigger, better, and heavier than ever before and introduces the band’s line-up now comprising Jonny McBee, Hardcore Keem and Cody Stewart.

Vocalist and songwriter McBee is also known for his role as the host and operator of the widely acclaimed Burn This World podcast, that is set to make its return in the near future. He is also set to embark on a parallel journey, launching a new side project in Death X Destiny with FiXT in the near future.

Hardcore Keem, the band’s guitarist, was originally just a fan of the band, he officially joined The Browning on tour in 2022, now becoming a staple for the band’s future and marketing. Besides being in the band he’s also a heavy music influencer and promoter with over 300K in social reach, including 100K followers on Instagram alone and running his own podcast The Hardcore Keem Show

Cody Stewart, drummer for The Browning is a seasoned musician with an impressive track record. As a mixing and mastering engineer, his clients include Nothing Nowhere, Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Epic Games (Fortnite), Lorna Shore, and many others. His expertise in mixing and mastering heavy music is a key point of the band’s intensity moving into this new era.

The Browning is FiXT’s largest signing to date, and we are super excited to have them! They are a staple in the electronic-core genre that came about in the 2010s era, and it’s an honour to have them on the roster,” said Dave Hansen, of FiXT A&R. “They are a huge inspiration for many electronic metal bands that have come about in the last ten years. It’s been great working with them so far, and I’m so excited to see how their sound evolves in their time with FiXT.”

“Jonny and The Browning have been on my radar for long time. I loved his 2019 remix of my Celldweller track ‘A Matter Of Time’. Fast forward four years and here we are… Excited to announce he’s officially joining the FiXT family,” said Klayton, FiXT’s president & co-founder.
