European power metal band Winterstorm has a new single out, in the epic sounding ‘Fate Of The Atlanteans‘, their latest release ahead of the band’s new album, Everfrost that will now be released on 22nd September through AFM Records.
“In ‘Fate Of The Atlanteans’ we ask humanity, if it does not realise that if we do not change our way of dealing with our planet, we will face the same fate as in Atlantis history and thus the destruction of our world.” The band commented.
You can check that out yourselves via the lyric video presented here at RAMzine.
After twelve years, Winterstorm plan on taking things to the next level, with their fifth studio album, and Everfrost will feature the tracks: ‘To The End Of All Known’, ‘The Phoenix Died (Remember)’, ‘Circle Of Greed’, ‘Future Times’, ‘Everfrost’, ‘Final Journey’, ‘Fate Of The Atlanteans’, ‘Crusade’, ‘Overcome The Fear’ and ‘Silence ‘.
The album will be available as CD digipak, limited clear blue vinyl and boxset and can be pre-ordered here.
The band’s name is derived from two individual ones that are intended to define their influences. From “winter” they take a Nordic Viking and folk metal stance, from “storm” fast-paced power metal, combined with epic and orchestral metal facet.
Melodic grandeur is their intent, reflected in heavily catchy choruses and colossal, polyphonic vocals, with striking elements of different metal styles merging with each other.
In May, Leaves’ Eyes Elina Siirala was guest featured on their ‘The Phoenix Died’ single and you can check out the video here at RAMzine.
Previously they released the singles ‘To The End Of All Known’ and ‘Future Times’ and you can also check out the videos to both singles here at RAMzine.
The five-piece commented on ‘Future Times’ that it was “about focusing on the changeable future instead of wasting time on the unchangeable past. Whether it’s the small things everyday or big ones like the destruction of our planet — it’s always worth getting the focus right”.
“‘To The End Of All Known’ is about uncertain future times driven by technical progress, we as a band are looking forward positively to play our next shows for our fans and hope they enjoy the newest song and our upcoming album,” said the band.
