DOPE cover Ministry’s ‘Thieves’ with Combichrist’s Andy LePlegua

Following from the successful comeback that was Blood Money Part 1, DOPE have given us a sneak preview of Part 2 with a cover of ‘Thieves’ originally by Ministry, featuring Combichrist front man Andy LePlegua.

Check the NSFW video for the track, mocking Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton can be seen below:

DOPE frontman Edsel Dope had this to say on the video:

“Like many people, I wasn’t pro Hillary, nor was I pro Trump…I’m pro America and all of the politicians appear to be crooked in one way or another… As a result., we had a good time throwing all of them under the bus in this video.”

DOPE are currently on the ‘Blood Lust’ tour with Combichrist, Davey Suicide, and September Mourning in the US. Combichrist’s Andy LePlegua  had this to say on the collaboration:

“I’m not a fan of cover songs … When Edsel reached out to me about doing ‘Thieves’ together I was really skeptical – but in the end I think we do the mighty Ministry justice… and I’m sure Uncle Al will love the video!”
