Napalm Death announce European gigs

UK Grindcore band Napalm Death, once known for releasing a single lasting barely a few seconds, are now touring the USA alongside bands such as Slayer, on the second leg of their farewell to touring tour, plus also Lamb of God, Anthrax and Testament. The tour, which began on July 26th at Gifford, New Hampshire, runs until August 2th, when the band headline their own show in Los Angeles. Bassist Shane Embury says of the tour:

Napalm Death are very excited to be part of then second leg of Slayer’s farewell tour. I never would have though playing Grindcore would catapult into this iniverse.

From the USA, Napalm Death then head down to South America for a twenty one date tour with Cannibal Corpse, taking in nine countries and ending in Latin America with three shows in Mexico in early October. And then, on the assumption there’s no rest for the wicked, after an appearance at the Damnation festival, Leeds, on November 3rd, the band engage in a further ten headlining shows across Europe, concluding in Birmingham on December 1st.
