In 2014 former members of the iconic metal band Venom came together to form Venom, Inc. This included original guitarist Jeff ‘Mantas’ Dunn, former vocalist Tony ‘Demolition Man’ Dolan, and drummer Anthony ‘Abbadon’ Bray. Having toured the world playing the Venom back-catalogue, they started writing new material and in 2017 were signed to Nuclear Blast. This lead to the instant classic album Ave.
Although Mantas had emergency heart surgery 10 weeks prior, the Geordie metalheads made it to this year’s Bloodstock and played a storming set full of classics and newer material. We caught up with vocalist and bassist Tony aka Demolition Man to talk about Venom, Inc compared to Venom, life experiences, and how to make it in the music industry. We thought this chat with Tony was so good, we want you to hear it in all it’s glory
Just to explain the first part, Tony complimented the yellow Hawaiin shirt I was wearing at the time for the Cannibal Corpse set.
WARNING! There is a lot of explicit language in this interview.
