Motörhead have shared a second single from the forthcoming 20th anniversary edition of Kiss Of Death, due 3 July 2026 via BMG on expanded double LP and 2CD. The new track, ‘Be My Baby (Live at Lowlands Festival 2007)’, is lifted from a previously unreleased radio broadcast of the band’s 2007 set at the Dutch festival.
Originally released in 2006, Kiss Of Death was Motörhead’s 18th studio album and picked up where 2004’s Inferno left off: loud, fast and relentless. Driven by Lemmy’s unmistakable growl, Phil Campbell’s guitar and Mikkey Dee’s precision drumming, it leaned into the heavier edge of their sound, with guest turns from Mike Inez of Alice In Chains and C.C. DeVille of Poison, and standout cuts in ‘Sucker’, ‘Trigger’ and the fan favourite ‘God Was Never On Your Side’.
For its 20th anniversary, the album has been newly half-speed mastered from the original tapes. The reissue carries fresh liner notes from Classic Rock’s Dave Ling, written as a tribute to Phil Campbell following his recent passing. It also adds an exclusive bonus live LP of that 2007 Lowlands performance in Biddinghuizen, on vinyl for the first time, while the CD edition includes three further bonus tracks.
A live ‘Be My Baby’ makes a fitting trailer for the set. The original studio version sits on side B of the album, and hearing it roared out in front of a festival crowd is a reminder of how completely Motörhead owned a stage.
With Download 2026 still ringing in the ears, the timing lands well. We reckon few bands have earned the anniversary treatment more honestly than this one, and a reissue that doubles as a tribute to Phil Campbell gives it real weight.
