A.A. Williams continues to build towards her highly anticipated third album Solstice with the release of new single ‘Poison’ alongside the full tracklisting and artwork.
The track follows previous singles ‘Just A Shadow’, ‘Wolves’ and ‘Hold It Together’, each of which has deepened the emotional landscape of what promises to be her most ambitious album to date. Solstice is due June 5 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
Williams has carved out a singular space within heavy music, her sound sitting in the liminal territory between beauty and devastation. If you’ve followed the singles so far, you’ll know this is an artist who understands how to make space for feeling without ever losing her grip. ‘Poison’ continues that thread.
Since her debut at Roadburn Festival, she’s toured with Cult of Luna, Explosions in the Sky, Russian Circles and Sleep Token, and her albums Forever Blue and As The Moon Rests earned widespread critical acclaim. UK fans can catch her live at ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol on August 22, along with European dates supporting A Perfect Circle.
