Against The Current have announced a seventeen-date UK and European autumn tour, alongside the release of new single ‘Heavenly’ and its accompanying performance video.
Branded the Til Death & Back Tour, the run kicks off in Glasgow on 30 October and closes Europe-wide in Wiesbaden on 21 November. UK fans get five dates, finishing at London’s iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 4 November before the trio cross the Channel.
Vocalist Chrissy Costanza said the band are excited to bring the energy of their 15th anniversary shows onto bigger stages this autumn, and promised a lot of new music in the setlists.
It’s a milestone year for the band. Formed in 2011 when Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri were just 15, Against The Current have evolved from a teenage project into one of modern rock’s most reliable hook machines. Their 2021 EP Fever marked a transition into independent artists, and 2024 singles ‘silent stranger’, ‘blindfolded’ and ‘good guy’ have collectively passed 40 million streams.
There’s also the small matter of League of Legends anthem ‘Legends Never Die’, their collaboration with Riot Games, which has surpassed one billion streams. Not bad for a trio still in their late twenties.
We’ve watched Against The Current grow into the kind of band that crosses scenes effortlessly, with a fanbase that genuinely follows them across continents. The Til Death & Back Tour feels like a proper victory lap with a forward-looking edge.
