Scottish party metal crew Alestorm have been confirmed as the headliner for Metal On The Hill 2026, as the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary on August 29 in Graz, Austria.
Anyone who has seen Alestorm live knows exactly why they’re the perfect fit for this particular celebration. High-energy shows, exuberant party anthems and an absolute readiness for mayhem both on and off stage are pretty much the job description for a 10th birthday party at a castle on a hill.
Metal On The Hill was born ten years ago on Graz’s Schlossberg, one of Austria’s most beautiful and unique venues, created by Napalm Records and the Grazer Spielstätten. The festival takes place in the historic Kasematten, where a stage was built within the old walls of former fortifications back in the early 20th century, complete with a spacious auditorium that is particularly characteristic of Graz. Since its inception, the festival has become synonymous with heavy sounds, intense emotions and an unmistakable atmosphere in a truly one-of-a-kind setting.
