Toronto punk rock power trio Among Legends have shared ‘H/A/C/K’, the lead single from their forthcoming full-length Lose My Grip, due 10th July 2026.
The track lands fast and direct and pulls from the band’s roots in southern Ontario’s punk and ska circuit, with touchpoints running from The Flatliners and Hostage Life through to Bad Religion and Less Than Jake. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Matt Gauthier at ARC Recording Studio and This Place Needs A Name, ‘H/A/C/K’ sets the tone for what looks like a tighter, louder, more frayed Among Legends.
We really like the way the band describe themselves as shaped by “the in-between” — not tied to one scene or one city, but built through hours on the 401 past midnight, gear in the back, heat cranked, chasing the next show.
Formed in 2016, Among Legends built their foundation the long way with self-released EPs, constant shows and a steady climb through the melodic punk underground. Lineup changes since have reshaped Among Legends into something leaner. Mitchell Buchanan (bass and vocals) and Sara Fellin (drums) carried the band forward, with former member Tyler Boles rounding out the current trio on guitar.
‘H/A/C/K’ is the spark. Lose My Grip is the flame. If Take Good Care was the band finding their footing, this new record sounds like one ready to test it.
