Arion’s Wildfire

Following the recent, previously-released single, ‘Wings Of Twilight’, featuring a guest performance by Ad Infinitum singer Melissa Bonny, today, Finland’s melodic metal frontrunners Arion release the brand new single ‘Wildfire’.

After skyrocketing out of nowhere to the public eye as teenagers with the Finnish Eurovision qualification program UMK and now three studio albums under their belt, Arion is gearing up for a new full-length album.

The single was written by guitarist Iivo Kaipainen who said: “‘Wildfire’: The first song I wrote for the new album is also one of my favourites from the new album. The frighteningly infectious main riff with an equally catchy chorus, which is what everybody listening to the song points out, are the building blocks for a song that’s as metal as metal can be. ‘Wildfire’ made its live debut at the world-renowned 70 000 Tons Of Metal cruise proving to be exactly the most fun and the most insane live song we can think of!”

Produced by Matias Kupiainen (Stratovarius). You can listen to the song, out now on all digital providers here and check out the video here at RAMzine.

Since their formation in 2011, Arion – featuring Lassi Vääränen (Vocals), Iivo Kaipainen (Guitars), Arttu Vauhkonen (Keyboards), Georgi Velinov,  (Bass) and Topias Kupianen (Drums) – has gained impressive streaming numbers and toured with bands like Dream Theater, Gloryhammer, Battle Beast or Sonata Arctica to name just a few.

The previously released single, ‘Wings Of Twilight’, was also produced by Kupiain and Jacob Hansen (Volbeat).  It’s still available on all digital services  here and a lyric video, for the number, almost reminiscent of a short film, is now streaming that you can also watch here at RAMzine.
