British melodic rock band Atlantic return with ‘What Hurts The Most’, their rendition of the country classic originally recorded by Mark Wills in 2003, that then became famous thanks to Rascal Flatts. The single is out now via Frontiers Music Srl, with a new album due.
Commenting on their imminent future, guitarist Simon Harrison said: “So looking forward to our first release with Frontiers, ‘What Hurts The Most’. Frontiers feel like a spiritual home for Atlantic. We are excited to work with them on our new music. I’d just like to say thanks to Mario and everyone at Frontiers for their support and belief in us.”
Atlantic was founded by Harrison, after playing with Stranger and Wisht, then deciding he wanted to work in the AOR/melodic rock genre more, with their debut album, Power, released in 1994.
After decades working successfully as a ghostwriter, producer and mixing engineer, Harrison and vocalist Mark Grimmett reignited Atlantic, with the band now also featuring Nick Burr (guitar), Julian Hill (bass), Mark Peters (keyboards) and Eddie Marsh (drums), with 2024’s Another World issued on the Escape label, and now their new album due via Frontiers Music Srl.
