Becko the Space Cowboy

Becko has just released ‘See You Space Cowboy‘, his latest single from the ’90s-inspired concept album Present Day // Present Time out now.

You can purchase/stream it here and check out the video right here at RAMzine.

It follows Becko‘s recent collaboration with post-hardcore artist Tired Violence for Emo rock single ‘Reboot Myself’ and his own new breakbeat metal single ‘F33L_NTHNG’ .

‘F33L_NTHNG’ is a chaotic trance core, alternative rock, and breakbeat-infused single. Mixing Becko’s signature screaming vocals with a passionate performance that sometimes runs distorted with provocative lyrics as Becko illustrates a moment in time when you have nothing. Accented heavily with synthesizers, drums, and guitar solidly echoing the song’s turbulent concepts Becko continues to lay the groundwork for his next album.

“‘F33L_NTHNG’ is a trance core song with EDM and metal elements. The lyrics are a deep conversation with one of my inner selves,” said Becko. “I’m talking with maybe someone that could help me here in the present. Maybe it is me in the future. I made this song in 1 day like in a stream of consciousness lyrics, beat, and mix. I don’t know what genre it is. it’s just what I have inside in this moment of my life.”

The single is out on FiXT and available here – You can also check out the video here at RAMzine.

It follows in quick succession to August release ‘Home’ – In this song chaos is refined fusing determination with introspection through thoughtful lyrics, and a strong and at times brutal vocal performance from Becko. Turbulent rhythms laced with synthesizers over steady guitars only solidify the track’s tempestuous nature.

It is about dissociative identity disorder, and is about one specific personality among a trio trying to take over and work as a team without erasing their distinctive counterparts. The entire concept of the song and the album harkens back to late 90’s music and gaming when the internet was first getting traction, and anime like Iain, Evangelion and Trigun was very darkish and deep.

“This song is the first song released of my new concept album called Present Day // Present Time.’ It’s a breakbeat rock song with EDM influences,”said Becko. “The song talks about dissociative identity disorder, where the main character is trying to take the other two personalities in power to be the leader of the mind without erasing the other two parts but taking them alongside and becoming stronger (It’s a biblical concept).”

That single is still and available here – You can also check out the video here at RAMzine.
