British Lion, led by Iron Maiden founder Steve Harris, will return to the legendary Cart & Horses in Stratford for a six-night Christmas residency from 13 to 18 December, with special guests Albion.
The run follows the band’s extensive UK headline tour and a five-night stand at the same venue in 2025. For Iron Maiden fans, the Cart & Horses needs no introduction: it is one of the most important venues in the band’s history.
Steve Harris said: “We’re really happy to be coming back to the Cart & Horses for six nights in December. We’ve had some fantastic shows there over the years, and it’s always great to get back to such an important venue for Iron Maiden’s history. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there!”
Albion bring a neat connection of their own. The band features Jack Clark, current guitarist with Jethro Tull, and Joe Parrish-James, Jethro Tull‘s former guitarist, who left to focus on Albion. Harris is well known as a lifelong Jethro Tull fan, so the pairing makes perfect sense.
Seeing Steve Harris play a pub this size is something special! Thinking about the run up to Christmas has us feeling very ready for winter pub and music nights! These tickets will not hang around.
