Rock band Cinema Stereo‘s 12:34 album is due 2nd October, ahead of their debut UK tour in November. Ahead of that is their latest single, ‘Expectations’.
With an overall arc edging towards epic grandeur, Cinema Stereo‘s ‘Expectations’ proves a song of self-doubt. It’s Cheap Trick playing at Led Zeppelin, with some added big wide harmonies.
Originally from Orlando, Florida and now based in Nashville, Cinema Stereo‘s 12:34 was recorded at The Smoakstack in Nashville with producer Paul Moak, who commented: “Working with Cinema Stereo was such a fun, exciting adventure. Ian‘s songs are a fury of his creative energy matched with Seb‘s guitars jumping out of the speakers.
“The band is so creative and exciting to be around. Every day the boys would walk in with fresh ideas for layers on the songs. This album was a true joy, and I’ve been lucky enough to see the energy live as well. Definitely go see them because it’s on another level!”
12:34 will be available as a limited-edition vinyl and CD, with digital editions also available. The tracks featured are ‘Flood’, ‘Over The Edge’, ‘Now We Feel Special’, ‘A Moment Of Feeling Alone’, ’12:34′, ‘Expectations’, ‘Ride To The Sun’, ‘Flowers’, ‘Lean On You’, ‘All I Want’, ‘Tears’ and ‘Proxima’. The album artwork was created by legendary pop artist Kii Arens.
‘Expectations’ is available on all streaming platforms, with a lyric video.
