The good news is: Cradle Of Filth and many other bands have been added to this year’s Bloodstock Festival line-up. (Happy face).
The bad news is: Dimmu Borgir has had to postpone to 2022, due to COVID-related reasons. (Sad face).
Dimmu Borgir’s management released this statement:
“The band is absolutely gutted about this, having to cancel Bloodstock again, but we have already confirmed with Vicky and the Bloodstock team that the band will be back in the UK for the 2022 edition. Stay safe!”.
Despite COVID restrictions, Cradle of Filth have already had a busy year with their new comic-book and action figure lines as well as a collaboration with clothing brand BlackCraft Cult.
As promised, Bloodstock will have bands over 5 days this year and the first band, and headliner, announced for Wednesday this year are Britsh thrash gods Onslaught.
Also playing the same day is Beholder, who are playing their farewell set at Bloodstock…
Joining them are theatrical M2TM alumni Ward XVI…
As part of a reshuffle, progressive death metallers Anakim are now playing Wednesday…
As well as metal entertainers Raised By Owls (check out these guys’ on YouTube, you won’t regret it)…
