Hertfordshire goth-rock legends Fields Of The Nephilim return with their first track in 12 years. Their last release being 2005 album ‘Mourning Sun’ .
As its title implies, ‘Prophecy’ is a taste of what’s to come hinting at a full album to follow. A statement on the band’s Facebook page offers:
“As its title implies, ‘Prophecy’ is a taste of what’s to come, an early indication of the labours undertaken in the creation of a new Nephilim universe.”
‘Prophecy’ is a ferocious rock anthem that roars with dark energy and heralds a new dawn for the followers of the Nephilim. Their patience will be well rewarded over the coming months.
If this track is anything to go by, Carl’s long hours in the studio have paid off and it looks like we’re going to see some of the band’s most exciting work for a very long time.
Prophecy is available immediately on iTunes, with a physical release on both CD and vinyl promising artwork and bonus material following in due course. Information will be posted on www.fields-of-the-nephilim.com soon.
