Foo’s and Royal Blood win at The BRIT Awards

After last night’s Brit Award ceremony , you may have heard about Madonna getting dragged backwards by her cape. Or even how many times Kanye West’s performance was ‘muted’. The big story for RAMzine was the victory for the rock industry.

Duo of the moment –  Royal Blood – managed to pick up the award for ‘British Group’ beating One Direction, Coldplay, Alt-J and Clean Bandit.

The award winning two-piece also performed their hit ‘Figure It Out’ at the event. You can see the video below:

Meanwhile,  rock legends Foo Fighters picked up the award for ‘International Group’ pipping The Black Keys, First Aid Kit, The War On Drugs and 5 Seconds To Summer to the post. You can see Dave Grohl and co. accepting the gong via video message below:

Unfortunately, rock ‘n’ roll was not victorious in every category: Jack White lost out to Pharrell Williams for ‘International Male’, and Royal Blood lost to Ed Sheeran for ‘British Album’ and to Sam Smith for ‘British Breakthrough Act’
