Irish metal heavyweights Hero In Error have released a brand-new standalone single, ‘Echoes’, following the success of their long-awaited self-titled EP last year.
Available now across all digital platforms,‘Echoes’ is a brooding statement that reflects the band’s ever-evolving sound and their enduring bond as a musical brotherhood.
Speaking about the track, the band explained: “Since releasing our self-titled EP last year, we’ve been keeping the momentum going by writing and working on new material. ‘Echoes’ came together pretty organically, starting with the heavier parts, with the chorus falling into place towards the end. The song really took shape during vocal tracking, thanks to input from Kaan and Justin Hill, who helped restructure it for a better overall flow. We’re really happy with how it turned out and hope friends and fans of the band enjoy it.”
In addition to the single, Hero In Error announced two very special fundraiser shows in Dublin and Cork this month in support of their longtime friend and former bandmate Adam Moore, who has been living with multiple sclerosis for over 12 years. Moore, a crucial figure in the band’s history and a co-writer of their 2009 debut EP The High Points Of New Lows, is currently undergoing several rounds of stem cell treatment aimed at improving his condition and quality of life. All profits from both shows will go directly towards his ongoing treatment.
The shows are as on Thursday 24th April at The Soundhouse, Dublin, with special guests Uragh and Solothurn (Tickets here) and on Friday 25th April at Dali, Cork, with special guests Worn Out, Codespeaker, and Nealo (Tickets here).
Fans attending these shows can also pick up limited edition merchandise available exclusively on the night, with all proceeds going to the cause. “Adam has had a huge impact on us, both as a person and a musician, for over 20 years,”the band said. “These shows are about supporting him, but also about celebrating everything he’s been a part of.” For those unable to make the shows, donations can be made via Moore’s GoFundMe page here.
