Hailing from San Francisco, Hot Laundry is kicking out a fresh new take on rock & roll and follow their ‘Shake’ single that was released last year, with their beefier-sized Shake Slide Twist EP out now on Die Laughing Records.
Lead singer Janette Lopez’s role is to help you forget your worries and have you howling at the moon by the end of the night, and alongside backing singers and dancers Ileath Bridges and Gena Serey send you back to the glory days of 1960s bad girl garage bands!
Hot Laundry is heavily influenced by MC5, The Stooges, 1970s east coast punk rock and delta blues to serve up working class music wherein lyrics reflect hard work, hard times, love, and dancing all night.
The line-up is completed by Grady Hord – Guitar, keyboards, backup vocals, Casey Gallagher – Bass Guitar, Mark Mortensen – Drums.
