Jon Schaffer‘s Sons of Liberty has released an official music video for ‘Jekyll Island’, the opening track on the new album, Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2).
“‘Jekyll Island’ is based on the must-read book by G. Edward Griffin The Creature from Jekyll Island,” said Jon Schaffer, the driving force behind what began as a solo project but has evolved since.
“If we want to make positive change in the world, it’s important to understand the nature of the monetary system that we live under. This book is a great place to start your journey of understanding. It was obvious to me in 2009 when I wrote this song that it had the right energy to open the record.”
‘Jekyll Island’ follows the release of official music videos for ‘Full Spectrum Dominance’ and ‘Molon Labe’, all of which feature on Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2).
Originally crafted with programmed drums to minimise costs, Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) were designed not for profit, but as a gift to the world to be copied, shared, and amplified freely. At its core, Sons Of Liberty‘s music exposed the machinations of a fraudulent financial system and the insidious creep of authoritarianism, serving as a stark warning to humanity. Now, with those shadows cast longer than ever, this music is intended to stand as a timeless testament to truth, unfiltered and unapologetic.
Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) is available to stream on all platforms. For collectors, a special physical edition is available via The Circle Music, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
