Greek black metal act Kawir celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary, with a return to live performance with dates announced in thier native country to take place this month.
Kawir will be sharing the stage with British act Saor, who will also be celebrating 10 years. These will be Kawir’s first performances since the pandemic stopped all live activity and since founding member Therthonax’s recent health issues, that involved multiple heart surgeries and a long road to recovery.
Kawir commented: “It’s time to celebrate 30 years of Kawir together with Saor who are celebrating 10 years, we are waiting for you all. Χαιρε.”
More live performances are to be announced soon. Kawir’s return to the stage follows the recent Pagan Records reissues of a big part of the band’s discography, that included unreleased and first-time on vinyl material.
These new versions of their records include never released tracks and for first time be available on vinyl as well as digipak. Full details are as follows:

Ahead of the releases, the band released a new live video to the track ‘Hail Bacchus’ that you can check out here at RAMzine. Filmed in Athens, Greece back in February 2020. The track comes from the 2012 album Ισόθεος (Isotheos) that is included in the Pagan Records reissues.
