Swedish female rock band Thundermother return with new single, ‘I Left My License In The Future’, following their attention-getting line-up change.
With this first single from the new line-up, we would like to give the fans a hard hitting no-brainer track aimed at the one in the passenger seat without a driver’s license. An anthem for those of us who never gets to be the designated driver and a love letter to the ones in the driver’s seat. Cheers and let’s party!“ said the band.
Produced again by Soren Andersen (Pretty Maids, D-A-D, Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp etc) in Autumn 2023, the single’s release will be accompanied with a central European tour with Lansdowne in late November and early 2024, plus for the first time ever a wide-ranging tour in their homeland.
Guitarist Filippa Nässil laid the foundations for Thundermother in late 2009. Ther have been several lineup changes since, while gaining European top chart positions for their most recent albums, while also receiving the Gaffa Award in 2020 as Sweden’s best Hard Rock act in 2020 and the European double silver Impala Award.
