Liverpool’s Dropstitch debut with Limerence

Liverpool’s Dropstitch make their entrance with debut single ‘Limerence’, out 3 now. They pitch themselves as Spiritbox meeting Alexisonfire, and the song lives up to the alt-metal billing: an upbeat anthem about building an entire romantic relationship in your head that never actually exists, whether because it isn’t returned or because you’re too scared to let it become real.

It’s a sharp, relatable hook for a first single, and there’s real ambition behind the rollout. We like a band that comes out swinging, and a debut built around a feeling that specific tends to land.

The launch happens with a headline show at Archive Liverpool on 7 June.
