If you thought The Final Ride from Lynch Mob was when they called it a day after last year’s Dancing With The Devil release, it was, but not completely. The band’s final run on stage was captured live and is out now as an album courtesy of Frontiers Music Srl.
The Final Ride is considered a farewell, a celebration and a definitive statement.
Mainman and lead guitarist George Lynch described The Final Ride by saying: “Captured loud, raw, and exactly how it was meant to be heard, this is Lynch Mob firing on all cylinders.”
Alongside Lynch, Gabriel Colon is on vocals, Jaron Gulino on bass and Jimmy D’Anda on drums.
The setlist is a powerful career-spanning journey, combining cornerstone Lynch Mob classics with three iconic Dokken-era songs that remain inseparable from George Lynch’s legacy.
Out now is ‘It’s Not Love’, along with an official live video, with Lynch commenting on the Dokken song: “When we were writing ‘It’s Not Love’, Jeff and I drew some inspiration from Van Halen’s ‘Ain’t Talking ‘Bout Love’ but of course with a completely different musical backdrop!”
