Parisian based alternative rock act Onlap has a new single out in ‘Never Too Late’ features the Billboard-charting, multi-platinum award-winning Atlantic Records artist Kiiara, known for her previous guest vocal contribution on Linkin Park‘s 2017 single ‘Heavy’.
Onlap commented: “Our new song ‘Never Too Late’ is a rock ballad with a catchy ending and an orchestral touch, with positive lyrics about never giving up and always trying. We’re lucky and honoured to have Kiiara featuring on this track, who brings a lot to the song, and whom we thank warmly. It’s a really special release, and we can’t wait to finally share it with you!”

Following independent releases and great successes across digital platforms, Onlap now with a worldwide deal on AFM Records are preparing to release a full studio album in 2024.
Among their more recent AFM Records signed singles, the most recent before ‘Never Too Late’ was ‘Afterglow’.
“Afterglow” is a very special song, and one of the last single releases before our album Waves will drop in June 2024,” the band commented. “This song is that kind of a message of comfort for all those who think that their best period, of age, of glory, of love, of happiness, of strength, of health, is behind them and past. The best is yet to come and this song is here to remind and accompany anyone who needs it.
“The video is quite a very special project, paying tribute to the Workout community, which has always supported Onlap for all these years. So we brought together famous Youtubers and members of the Onlap family to participate in this video and we are honoured that so many people responded to this call. Looking forward to finally unveil this song and video!!”

“’Hypnotized’ is undoubtedly one of the most important songs on our forthcoming album,” said the band. “We come a lot from grunge, and this song was an opportunity for us to get back to our roots, with a strong lyric about addiction. It’s also why we decided to shoot our second video clip for this track, under the direction of Aurélien Mariat, of which we’re really proud. So impatient to share it with you all now!”
It follows the band’s third single ‘Fever‘, on which they commented: “Unleash the primal power of ‘Fever’! This track is a sonic inferno, a molten fusion of raw lust and searing guitar riffs that’ll ignite your senses and leave you craving more,” exuded the band, continuing, “Get ready to sweat it out, for the fire is coming! We had a lot of pleasure to write that song, as an additional key piece of the upcoming album to be released with AFM in 2024!”

“This is the beginning of a huge new adventure for Onlap,” the band commented. “We worked a lot on this track so that the colour of the album and its atmosphere is marked from the beginning and from this first single. We shot the video with Aurélien Mariat and Alexis Fontaine (who work on the bands Landmvrks and Resolve), and are really super excited for its release, joining forces with the great AFM team!”
After all those years releasing a giant number of tracks, some EPs, and 1 best-of album for the 15 years anniversary of the band, Onlap is now taking the chance to write a full album containing 10 tracks. It will be a collection of their musical history, roots and brand-new influences, but most important: including a multiple degree of links inside the album, that will be revealed later.
