Picture Ann Explores The Mystery Of The Sea And The Destruction Of The Soul

A sparkling new digital single sporting the evocative title Sea Journal has just been released and bears all the defining traits and characteristics of Picture Ann, i.e. a desolate atmosphere, melodies that speak of yearning, and a subtle hint of something slightly eerie. Directly inspired by Herman Melville’s Moby Dick (1851) and Edgar Allan Poe’s The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket (1838), this composition revolves around the idea of darkness in the human soul and individuals that are prone to self-destruction.

Sea Journal is available via all the usual digital music stores.
