Picture Ann Travels Down A Careless And Solitary Road

The latest slice of lo-fi post-rock by the intriguing Picture Ann is out now. Entitled A Careless and Solitary Road and consisting of two darkly seductive and emotive compositions that came about thanks to a bout of insomnia in late March, these tracks revolve around the notion of either being or simply feeling permanently alone. Think Mary Shelley’s dystopian, post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel The Last Man. There is an underlying sense of anxiety and despair to be discovered here but arguably also a vague glimmer of hope. To be consumed and listened to in the dead of night.

A Careless and Solitary Road is available via all the usual digital music stores.
