Fiery, full-blooded Polynesian metal band Shepherds Reign will release new single ‘Ua Masa’a’ on 24th March, through Golden Robot Records, and you can watch the video for it hereat RAMzine.
Shepherds Reign members Filiva’a James, Oliver Leupolu, Shaymen Rameka, Gideon Voon and Joseph Oti-George have cemented a unique space for themselves in the industry with thunderously fearsome hits, including the 2020 hauntingly feral track ‘Le Manu’ that has amassed nearly 3 million streams since its release.
“We have had our eye on Shepherds Reign for years. There is no one doing what they are doing, it is completely unique and we are thrilled to be a part of it. This is just the beginning for Shepherds Reign, the catapult is coming,” said Golden Robot Records CEO and President Mark Alexander-Erber.

Fiercely dedicated to their cultural heritage and Polynesian pride, every Shepherds Reign live performance is said to bleed inner grit and passion, and Shepherds Reign remain as ferociously focused, with Rameka having roared out: “A new path has opened but the journey remains the same!”
Previously, they rereleased the songs ‘Le Manu’ and ‘Aiga’ as a double A sided single.
On it, the most dominant of Samoan warriors, Manu Samoa provides the crushing thunder of this war cry, adopted by Shepherds Reign as they look to their ancestors and families for guidance and further strength. With a catchy melodic twist inside the unwavering power, ‘Le Manu’ is fair warning that Shepherds Reign are intent on being en route to the world stage.
‘Aiga‘ is the guttural roar of a tribal warning against the foolishness of someone thinking that they know so much about life that they no longer need their family’s love. Wrapped in a cradle of enormous percussive grooves, with equal-sized riffs to match, it is a directive from Shepherds Reign to those who get lost in worlds of temptation and false knowledge to know that true happiness lies in family.
