Sleeping With Sirens share heavy new single Paralyzed

Sleeping With Sirens have released a new single and visualizer for ‘Paralyzed‘, the latest taste of their eighth studio album An Ending In Itself. The record arrives 12th June via Rise Records.

The Los Angeles alternative rockers describe ‘Paralyzed‘ as one of the heaviest things they’ve put their name to. “‘Paralyzed‘ is one of the heaviest songs on the new record,” explains vocalist Kellin Quinn. “We had a blast making it and really leaned into the bands that shaped and inspired us growing up, artists like Thrice, The Used, and Haste The Day. It’s aggressive, emotional, and captures a side of us we’ve always loved exploring.”

Produced by Will Yip, whose credits take in Turnstile, Circa Survive and Movements, the album is framed as both a homecoming and a reckoning, reviving the restless spirit of their classic sound with the perspective of recent years. Quinn describes An Ending In Itself as a culmination and a continuation, completing the emotional arc of How It Feels To Be Lost and Complete Collapse while reconnecting with the energy that first pushed the band forward. The 12-track record features earlier singles ‘An Ending In Itself‘, praised across Rock Sound, Kerrang!, Alternative Press and Dork, and the performance-driven ‘Forever/Always‘.

The album marks the band’s first with Rise Records since Feel, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, and follows a catalogue that includes the gold-certified Let’s Cheers To This and its platinum single ‘If You Can’t Hang‘. Fifteen years in, with seven studio albums and thousands of shows behind them, the band helped define the early-to-mid-2000s Warped Tour era and are now riding a fresh wave of interest from younger listeners discovering their back catalogue.

The line-up of Kellin Quinn, Nick Martin, Justin Hills, Matty Best and newest addition Tony Pizzuti are also out on the festival circuit this summer, including dates at the revived Warped Tour, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life and Aftershock. We know what to expect from Sleeping With Sirens by now, but this track offers some welcome contrast.
