Cinematic rock artist Soul Extract invites listeners into a vast sonic landscape with the release of the Chasms EP, a journey through intricate emotions, human survival, and the untapped depths of the universe, out now from FiXT.
The Chasms EP fuses orchestral rock, electronic elements, and raw lyrical intensity to explore themes of isolation, survival, and interconnectedness to the very desolate beauty of outer space.
Available here, you can check out the video for the track ‘Entangled’ here at RAMzine.
It follows ‘Anomaly’, produced by songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Paul Trust, that emerged as a blend of cerebral depth and raw beauty within the tumultuous currents of modern rock.
With a voice that pierces through the chaos, Soul Extract delves into the depths of human emotion, creating a sonic-scape that tells a story that is as violent as it is soul-stirring. “Paul and I wanted to create a sci-fi story about a lone survivor of a destroyed planet drifting through space in hyper sleep”, explained Soul Extract. “Dreaming of his feet once again touching the ground but doubting the importance of his existence due to the current circumstances.”

If follows the orchestral rock journey of previous cinematic rock single ‘Innerspace’, accompanied by Void Chapter member and labelmate Brian Skeel.
Building up momentum from the start, ‘Innerspace’ is an ethereal journey into the microcosms. In his own words Soul Extract explained, “From my passion of the microscopic unseen world came a track that will hopefully pique the interest of those who have dismissed the subatomic and quantum world as mundane science. Working with Brian Skeel on this song is what brought this idea to life and I am super thankful to share this with him.”
Fuelled by guitars, synthesisers, and vocals, Soul Extract’s ‘Innerspace’ explores the depths of the smallest worlds we’ve yet to touch.
Although Soul Extract’s stylistic approach fits within the broad scope of electronic rock, it’s been said labels can’t begin to describe the exploratory, borderline progressive nature of the songs themselves.
‘Innerspace’ is available now on all platforms from FiXT here and you can check out the video here at RAMzine.
