The Radio Addicts return with explosive new single ‘Let’s Party Like It’s The 90s’, out worldwide across all major streaming platforms on 12 June.
The Bolton teenagers recorded the track at the Kaiser Chiefs’ studio The Nave in Leeds, with production from Andy Hawkins (Maximo Park, The Pigeon Detectives, Flogging Molly). Across two minutes and 49 seconds it delivers arms aloft singalong indie pop punk, all sharp hooks and huge choruses, powered by the full throttle energy of young musicians in a hurry.
Built around a guitar lick that grabs attention before crashing into a punch the air chorus, the single captures the chaos and exhilaration of a great night out, the kind that thrived in the 90s when Britpop was in full flow and there were no phones filming every moment. The verses chart the trials of chasing a special someone while steering clear of the people who are “all full of it” at a chaotic house party.
It has already drawn a strong early reaction. Its first two public airings came at Bolton Wanderers’ stadium as the teams ran out, and it arrives as This Feeling’s Song of the Day with a place on the tastemaker’s Spotify Best New Bands playlist.
The single follows debut vinyl EP MMXXV, released in November 2025. The limited pressing of 200 copies sold out entirely through pre orders and gig ticket bundles three months ahead of release, with one copy later spotted advertised at six times its original price.
To back the release, The Radio Addicts embark on a 16 date England tour this summer, culminating in their biggest headline show to date at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on 26 July. With relentless live energy and a fast growing audience, they are quickly making a name as one of the UK’s most exciting unsigned indie bands.
