Out now is ‘Ash In My Marrow‘, the second single and video taken from Polish doom and alternative metal act The Black Thunder‘s new full-length album, Time Obliteration, due 16th October via Pagan Records.
“This is the first song in the band’s history where the Polish language appears naturally, interwoven with English. That’s how I heard it from the very start, back when the track was just a skeleton,” said bassist, vocalist and founder, Marcin Szczepański. “I’m really curious to see how this vision is received, because that’s exactly how I envisioned it from the beginning.
“On top of that, there’s plenty of double-bass drumming and, surprisingly, mid-tempo blast beats; these are elements we had intentionally avoided on previous albums. Here, the clear premise was having no premises: we play what we want, and however we feel.”
Time Obliteration features the tracks: ‘Verification Of Wounds‘, ‘Ash In My Marrow‘, ‘Nothing Remains‘, ‘Turn Into Absence‘, ‘The Eternal Search For Inner Balance-Consciousness‘, ‘Fractured Time‘, ‘To Live, To Suffer, To Die‘ and ‘Revelation Of Times To Follow‘.
