Formed in 2015, Polish black-death band Untervoid, known for their intense and uncompromising sound, have released a new music video for the track ‘Downfall Of Angels’.
The song is featured on their debut album Parasite, that was released last September via Pagan Records – Parasite is a concept album that delves into the anxieties of our time, exploring humanity’s role as a parasitic force on society and the planet.
The visually striking video for ‘Downfall Of Angels’ was produced in collaboration with Grupa 13, was filmed in Wrocław in November 2024 and draws inspiration from the biblical motif of the expulsion of angels from heaven.
It relates the rebellion and subsequent judgment of these celestial beings, culminating in their dramatic fall. The central figure, Lucifer, is portrayed in both male and female forms, defiantly mocking divine authority as descends from the heavens. The sheer horror of his fall is palpable amongst the observing angels, marking the beginning of his journey in the liminal space between divinity and the human world.
