Ministry Release Final Album Hate To Go

And that’s a wrap. After 45 years, Ministry’s final album, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), is out now on Cleopatra Records, and Al Jourgensen is bowing out as loudly as he arrived.

Across ten tracks tackling societal collapse, frauds in charge and the impending robot takeover, the industrial pioneers sign off in typically uncompromising fashion. Album opener ‘Crickets’ has been released as the latest single, warning of fascism repeating itself and urging people to speak up before it’s too late. Its video is directed by Dean Karr, known for his work with Korn, Queens Of The Stone Age and Ozzy Osbourne.

“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished,” said Jourgensen. “I’m amazed at the path we’ve taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at now, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done.”

The album also includes the singles ‘Burned Out’, ‘We Hate’ and ‘Singularity’. It ends with a fitting final collaboration with legacy member Paul Barker on closing track ‘We’re Still Here’. Joining Jourgensen on the record are guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, synth player John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.

Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) is available on LP, CD, cassette and digital, with ‘The White Man Lied’ appearing only on the CD and digital editions.

Since forming in Chicago in 1981, Ministry have released 17 studio albums, earned six Grammy nominations and shaped industrial metal through landmark records such as The Land Of Rape And Honey, The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste and Psalm 69.

Fans will get one last chance to see them live on the 21 date Goodbye Europe 2027 tour with special guests Die Krupps, which includes four UK and Ireland shows:

6th April 2027: Manchester, O2 Victoria Warehouse
7th April 2027: Dublin, 3Olympia
9th April 2027: Nottingham, Rock City
10th April 2027: London, Troxy

Few bands get to choose their own ending, and fewer still go out swinging this hard.
