Ten years after their last studio album, Don’t Talk Science, German hard rock band Victory has announced their return with a brand-new album that will be going out under the handle Gods of Tomorrow, that will be released on 26th November 26, through AFM Records.
Ahead of that, the band has been teasing fans with the release of a batch of singles… The latest being ‘Love & Hate’.
The song describes the inner turmoil of a toxic co-existence. A tale of power and the abuse of it, delivered as a hard rock number. You can see the video for it right here at RAMzine, alongside those for previous releases.
Formed in 1984, Victory ranked alongside Scorpions, Accept and Halloween as the most successful of German bands. They played countless arena and festival shows all over the world and released ten multiple charting records to. After several line-up changes and years on hiatus, in 2003 the band announced their reunion.
Despite that, Don’t Talk Science, released in 2011, was the band’s last hurrah until now, as guitarist Herman Frank – Who was also a long-time member of Accept – never gave up on them and decided the band should rise again.
“An infinitely exciting and turbulent journey makes a stopover with the new Victory album Gods Of Tomorrow. But the whole story is far from being told yet,” said the guitarist.
Newborn, heavier and stronger than ever, featuring a high-class line-up consisting of Frank on guitar, vocalist Gianni Pontillo, guitarist Mike Pesin, Malte Frederik Burkert on bass and drummer Michael Stein, their new album will offer thirteen tracks that promise to take you “on a wild ride of unexpected power and classic rock grandeur!”
Gods Of Tomorrow features the following: ‘Intro’, ‘Love & Hate’, ‘Gods Of Tomorrow’, ‘Cut To The Bone’, ‘Dying In Your Arms’, ‘Hold On Me’, ‘Into The Light’, ‘Mad’, ‘Unconditional Love’, ‘My Own Desire’, ‘On Fire’, ‘Rising Force’, ‘In Rock We Trust’ and CD bonus track ‘Leave You Alone’.
The band released the title track back in September and ‘Cut To The Bone‘ as a single back in July and you can watch the videos to them here at RAMzine too – However, a warning, the latter does contain what may be considered, in the modern parlance, “Explicit lyrics”.
