Electric Callboy brings the party vibes with Tanzneid

Electric Callboy are a band I love a lot. I have been listening to them for about four years and saw them live for the first time at Slam Dunk in 2025. They are so much fun to watch and listen to. So when I heard they were releasing this album, I was excited and ready!

Electric Callboy, formerly Eskimo Callboy until changing their name in 2022, are a German electronicore band that formed in Castrop-Rauxel in 2010.

The current lineup is Kevin Ratajczak on lead vocals, keyboards, and programming, Nico Sallach on lead vocals, Daniel “Danskimo” Haniß on lead guitar, Daniel Klossek on bass and backing vocals, Pascal Schillo on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Frank Zummo on drums.

Tanzneid released on 7th August 2026 with 14 party-heavy tracks, including remixes, via Century Media Records.

Electric Callboy have released several tracks from the album ahead of its arrival, the first being ‘Ratatata’ featuring Babymetal on 23rd May 2024. The single also features on Babymetal‘s latest album Metal Forth, which of course I reviewed.

The band released their second single ‘Elevator Operator’ on 24th January 2025. Third single ‘Revery’ arrived on 23rd May 2025, followed by ‘Still Waiting’ featuring Frank Zummo on 22nd August 2025, with title track ‘Tanzneid’ arriving on 31st October 2025.

The band took a little break before releasing the last set of tracks. ‘Hypercharged’ featuring Brawl Stars arrived on 16th April 2026, followed by ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ featuring The Offspring on 5th June 2026, and lastly ‘The Way You Are’ on 28th July 2026.

I have heard a few songs from this album already, both from nights out and on my own playlist. It was so fun to listen to them alongside the other tracks on the album, what an experience! It was honestly so hard to keep still, I was dancing and headbanging a lot! And of course I sang along to the ones I already knew. It felt like they were in the room with me, bringing all the party vibes! I really enjoyed the remixes too, so different yet still keeping the band’s authenticity.

Firstly, their title track ‘Tanzneid’ opened the album, and what a way to open! The heaviness, electronics, and melodic hardcore of the track introduce you to what the band are known for, while preparing you for what’s next.

‘Ratatata’ featuring Babymetal is of course a highlight! Massive party vibes, infectious catchiness, and a track you just can’t sit still to, it’s impossible! You find yourself dancing and headbanging throughout the whole thing.

‘Let The Good Times Roll’ featuring The Offspring definitely has to be on my list! I am a massive fan of The Offspring, and have seen them live once, so I was very excited and intrigued to hear them alongside Electric Callboy. This was such a surprising collaboration to me, yet it worked so well! You have the party vibes of Electric Callboy with The Offspring bringing the authentic punk rock, making it feel like a heavy and melodic punk rock party.

‘The Way You Are’ starts off so light and gives ’90s boyband vibes, which shocked me. All of a sudden, you’re hit with the heaviness and hardcore you were waiting for all along. I like how they made this track so different to the rest. I never thought they would go as light as they did, but it somehow works.

And lastly, let’s get onto a remix. ‘We Got The Moves’ is a song I have heard many times, but hearing it remixed was such a treat! It’s a Sullivan King remix with Electric Bassboy. This remix has more DJ-mixing energy to it, making it sound more like something for a club in Ibiza than an alternative club. It still has the party vibes, just in a different way. I prefer the original personally, but I like that they took a risk and showed a different side to themselves.

This whole album makes me want to dance, jump around, and headbang until my whole body aches! Such a brilliant album, and I will definitely be playing it before a night out to get me in the mood! Highly recommend checking this out if you like electronicore, metalcore, and hardcore.
