Syteria’s Reflection

Blending classic rock stylings with a punk fuzz, great tunes with heart and feel, and bucket loads of passion, come Syteria with their new album Reflection, out on 21st February, through Syteria Records/Cargo Distribution.

Formed by Jackie ‘Jax’ Chambers, lead guitarist with Girlschool, the Yorkshire based band also feature siblings  Julia Vocal (on Lead vocals, naturally) and Pablo Calvo (Drums), plus recent addition Steph Dawson (Bass) who was previously with Scream Of Sirens.

Yorkshire band Syteria hit the scene in 2015, self-releasing their Wake Up EP the following year and through a Pledge campaign their debut album Rantobot in 2017, subsequently nominated for an Independent Music Award for best album and shortlisted to the final five.

“Fun, four part harmonies and melodies that you can’t help but sing along to,” appear to be the band’s musical raison d’être. And for those more technically minded, we are reliably informed, they use the ancient Solfeggio scale of recording in 432hz instead of the standard 440hz, to leave you feeling in tune with the universe!

You can pre-order Reflection by clicking here and there’s an opportunity to catch Syteria live when they play a series of UK gigs over the following months.
