Alien Ant Farm have released new single ‘Gaslighter’ via Judge & Jury Records. The track will appear on their next album and is set to feature in Stage Tour, the new rhythm game from RedOctane Games.
‘Gaslighter’ takes aim at the liars and manipulators who leave lasting scars. Frontman Dryden Mitchell said: “With hints of Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine, we wrote a razor-edged gem that calls out the liars and manipulators in our lives… Light the fuses and burn all the liars!”
The song began life as ‘Code Talker’, a nod to the Native American service members whose languages carried unbreakable messages in both World Wars. Producer Howard Benson preferred the more direct title. Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace is also on the production team.
Stage Tour launches on 10 December on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC. ‘Gaslighter’ joins a soundtrack that already includes Metallica, Slipknot, Megadeth and Ghost.
With ANThology reaching its 25th anniversary, it is good to see Alien Ant Farm still pushing forward with new music, and UK fans get a run of dates very soon.
