All-female Tribute Band Judas Priestess Sign Global Deal

Judas Priestess, the groundbreaking all-female tribute band to heavy metal icons Judas Priest. has inked  a global record deal with Golden Robot and celebrate with the release of their debut single with the label, ‘Dissident Aggressor’, out now.

Since their inception, Judas Priestess has captivated audiences with their hard-hitting performances, paying homage to one of metal’s most iconic bands while adding their own fierce, feminine edge. Known for their electrifying stage presence and skilful interpretations of Judas Priest’s catalogue, the band has established itself, with endorsements from industry legends. Rob Halford himself praised the band in his recent book, Biblical, describing them as “brilliant,” while former Judas Priest lead guitarist KK Downing called them “Metal’s top tribute.”

Lead vocalist Militia Vox expressed her excitement about the signing, stating:  “Judas Priestess is excited to join forces with Golden Robot Records. We’ve been sitting on some recordings for a while, and we were about to release the songs independently, so, the timing of the signing was perfect. We are proud to share ‘Dissident Aggressor’ as our newest single – one of Judas Priest‘s heaviest and most dynamic songs. It’s our first release in five years. We keep going because the fans that enjoy our interpretation of Judas Priest keep asking us to! This is for them. We honour and respect the legacy of Judas Priest by holding true to the song’s original style but with a feminine edge.”

Duetted with the Halford himself on supergroup Bad Penny’s track ‘Push Comes To Shove’ – making her the only singer to have a song with the person they’ve tributed. The band is featured in the documentary about funk-rock icon Betty Davis, They Say I’m Different (now streaming on Amazon Prime), as well as on VH1’s That Metal Show – where they first received Halford’s blessing.

The band religiously packs houses and events with frenzied fans all over the world.  They have headlined House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and consistently play to a sold-out crowd at their anniversary show at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.  They headline motorcycle events, such as Myrtle Beach Bike Week, Laconia Bike Week, Ocean City Bike Week, The Indian Larry Block Party and Dee Snider’s (Twisted Sister) Bikers For Babies.  They were even hired by LIRR/ MTA to perform inside NYC’s historical Penn Station on a weekday during rush hour!

Judas Priestess has opened for Twisted Sister, Pentagram, Metal Allegiance and Action Bronson and have been joined onstage by Corey Glover (Living Colour), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Richard Christy (Iced Earth, Howard Stern Show), grunge goddesses L7, Tony Harnell (TNT), Metal Mike (Halford, Sebastian Bach) and members of White Zombie, Monster Magnet, Vixen, The Bouncing Souls and The Plasmatics.
