Black Stone Cherry reschedule UK tour to 2027

Black Stone Cherry have moved their ‘An Evening With’ UK tour from autumn 2026 into the new year, and bolstered it with five extra shows in the process. The run, which marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s 2006 self-titled debut, now stretches to 21 dates across January and February 2027.

Drummer John Fred Young explained the shift came down to family commitments in mid-October that he could not work around, with the band unable to hold all the original shows within the same window. Every ticket already bought stays valid for the rescheduled dates.

The format is built for the faithful. The Kentucky quartet will play two sets each night, performing that debut album in full before a second set drawing on favourites from across their career and fresh material from their new EP.

That EP, Celebrate, is out now through Mascot Records. The seven track release leads with the rowdy ‘Neon Eyes’ and title track ‘Celebrate’, and closes with a cover of Simple Minds‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ featuring Theory of a Deadman‘s Tyler Connolly. Its emotional centre is ‘Deep’, recorded in partnership with Sands, the UK charity supporting families through baby loss.

Across two decades Black Stone Cherry have built a reputation as one of rock’s most relentless live acts, sharing UK stages with Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Halestorm, headlining Ramblin’ Man Fair twice and turning in memorable sets at Download.

A full album played start to finish plus a second set of favourites is a generous pitch, and we reckon the 20th birthday framing gives these shows a real sense of occasion.
