Less than a week to go but there’s still more names making it on the bill.
Sadly Myrath will no longer be performing at the festival but luckily Bristol’s metal fusionists Bull-Riff Stampede have stepped in and will be performing on the SOPHIE stage on Saturday.
Stages times are now available to download from the website’s forums, and to view on the official app available on the App Store and Google Play (search ‘Bloodstock’).
Love the Jägermeister? Be on the lookout for the ‘Jäger BOA’, an exclusive Jäger-based cocktail created for BLOODSTOCK at the Jägermeister stage bar & in the Serpents Lair VIP bar. A blend of Jägermeister with passion fruit syrup, sparkling grapefruit and garnished with a slice of blood orange, it’s certainly a tasty one to try out.
Names for the comedy bill have also been released – Friday’s side-splitting line up includes David Jordan’s edgy songs and stand-up, Chris Brooker’s hilarious improvisation, the award-winning newcomer Ingrid Dahle, all compere’d by everyone’s favourite heavy metal comedian, Andrew O’Neill. Check out a flavour of his ‘Pure Satanic Black Comedy’ below:
Saturday evening’s bill features compere and all-round funny man, Jim Smallman, plus Jonathan Mayor and Perrier comedy Award-winner Wil Hodgson.
Sunday ushers in a full ‘History of Heavy Metal’ set from Andrew O’Neill, combining stand-up comedy with live music played on his customised Flying V guitar.
After the bands finish, the entertainment goes of with 4 DJs Of The Apocalypse each night as per, EVIL SCARECROW’s ringmaster Monty Blitzfist and Kraven Morrdeth on Friday.
If that’s not enough, there will be performances from world-renowned fire – eating troupe Pyrohex (see below)
