Appearing on the ‘Let There Be Talk’ podcast, Corey Taylor, vocalist of Download headliners Slipknot, talked about working with special effects wizard Tom Savini on his brand new mask for his upcoming performances. Corey commented: “He’s the godfather to me.”..“[I] got to hang out with him, got to talk with him. Met him through a friend who actually works with him. And the three of us were kind of developing this new mask together so I’m kind of fucking chuffed on that.”

Tom Savini is the special effects genius behind iconic Hollywood horrors like Friday The 13th, From Dusk Til Dawn, Dawn Of The Dead, and many more. This should be an amazing mask to add to Mr Talor’s collection. As well as headlining Download, SlipKnot are due to release a new album this year. Check out lead single ‘All Out Of Life’ below:
