Download Festival has confirmed that its 2027 edition, Download XXIV, is officially the fastest selling in the festival’s history, with Early Bird tickets selling out at record speed.
The festival returns to its spiritual home of Donington Park from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 June 2027, and all of this has happened before a single band has been confirmed. The line-up reveal is described as imminent, and the organisers have been teasing fans with a trail of clues that has sent headliner theories into overdrive online.
A small number of final Late Bird tickets remain, offering the last chance to buy at a discount before prices rise once the line-up is announced.
Download now boasts the largest festival main stage in the UK, and the organisers say further investments, improvements and new collaborations are planned for the festival’s 24th year. Away from the music, the Beyond the Bands programme continues to grow, with the District X area offering everything from an onsite salon, stand-up comedy and DJ sets to cinema screenings, meditation, sound baths and yoga.
We have been at Donington every year, and the numbers say a lot about how much the Download Family trusts this festival. People are buying tickets before they know who is playing because they know what the weekend feels like. That loyalty is hard earned, and it puts real pressure on the line-up announcement to deliver.
Download XXIV takes place at Donington Park from 9 to 13 June 2027.
