Belgian thrashers Evil Invaders will release their fourth studio album, Weaponized Chaos, on 19 February 2027 via Napalm Records. To mark the news they have shared new single ‘D.S.S. (Death Strikes Suddenly)’ with a performance video.
“A hard hitting thrash anthem that will kick you right in the face,” say the band. “It’ll take you back to the pure roots of thrash metal with a lot of twists and turns, resulting in a solo battle between Max and Joe before the last chorus kicks in.”
Produced once again by Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse, the album is the band’s first full-length since 2022’s Shattering Reflection, and they call it their most versatile yet. Alongside full-speed thrash such as the title track and ‘Dreamstate’, there are slower, more melodic moments. ‘Forever By My Side’ is a haunting tribute to former guitarist Sam Lemmens, who passed away recently, and closer ‘Lucid Dreaming’ was written by Lemmens back in 2014.
Evil Invaders will head out on the Triple Thrash Alliance tour across Europe with Heathen, Exhorder and Warfield, before a UK run with Heathen.
