Known for their work with Melbourne, Australia rock band Stonetrip, Mark Ritchie and Mick Malusa are a songwriting partnership that has already produced years of music together. Now they are taking another step forward with the creation of MMMR Music, a new platform for their songwriting, recordings and the music still to come.
This isn’t the end of Stonetrip, it’s another avenue, with the pairing thinking outside the box – Having spent years writing, recording and developing music together, MMMR Music now gives them a home for the next chapter of that creative partnership — and the freedom to take their music in new directions.
Alongside MMMR Music, the release is being supported by Duckfat Records, another part of the independent platform being built around Ritchie and Malusa’s music, and as evidence of that their new single, ‘Fire’s Still Burning’ has been released on the label.
Described as a “powerful, melodic rock track” there are big guitars, a strong hook “and plenty of heart – You can order the single here and check out the video below.
