Five Finger Death Punch Release ‘Eye Of The Storm’

Five Finger Death Punch have released ‘Eye Of The Storm’, the first single from their forthcoming tenth studio album, currently being recorded in Los Angeles and expected later in 2026.

It marks 20 years for the band, and founder and guitarist Zoltan Bathory says the new material is heavier than anything they have done in years, carrying a cinematic undertone beneath it. He describes starting with nearly 30 songs and carving them down to 14 or 15, even toying with a double album at one point. For him the record feels like a return to the grit and aggression of the early days, the era he wrote most of, with brother Ivan Moody’s vocals sounding bigger than ever.

The single lands alongside the band’s 20th Anniversary World Tour, which reaches UK and European arenas in early 2027 with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within in support. The run opens in Manchester on 16 January 2027 before taking in Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham and London’s O2, then heading across the continent.

Five Finger Death Punch remain one of the most divisive names in modern hard rock, but there is no arguing with the scale of what they have built, and a tenth album leaning back into their heavier roots is a more interesting prospect than another polished radio play. We are curious to hear whether the rest of the record backs up Bathory’s promise.
