Gilby Clarke has released his brand new single ‘Rock N’ Roll Is Getting Louder’ through Golden Robot Records.
It’s pure rock and roll doused in all that’s classic about the music, with an anthemic thrust to boot.
Clarke as played in both Guns N’ Roses and The MC5. Who else can claim membership in two of the most life-altering and influential rock ’n’ roll outfits to ever exist on the planet?
Not bad for a 17-year-old punk from Cleveland whose Hollywood dues were paid in full, earning his apprenticeship ghost writing and playing on sessions for Kim Fowley and working the night shift playing live with the likes of Candy and Kill For Thrills.
Clarke currently splits his services with Kings of Chaos, led by Matt Sorum and an all-star alumni that has featured Steven Tyler, Joe Elliot and Gene Simmons, alongside playing with his own solo band.
Keef Richards, Johnny Thunders and B.B. King remain his influences as he continues to write fist-jacking rock ’n’ roll songs with fat choruses, and appear on stages around the globe. He produces bands too. And, as he notes, ‘Rock N’ Roll Is Getting Louder’.
