Gloryhammer Bring Space 1993 Tour to the UK

For the eternal glory of Dundee! Power metal heroes Gloryhammer have released their fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, via Napalm Records. They have also shared an animated video for ‘Starfighters of Leuchars’.

The album is a direct sequel to 2015’s Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards. It follows Angus McFife V, Crown Prince of Fife, on a journey across spacetime to the distant future of 1993. In ‘Starfighters of Leuchars’, Angus gets help from his ace pilot allies, who also appear on the album artwork, against a sweeping orchestral backdrop.

“Mighty warriors! Set H-foils to attack position,” say the band. “You may Hoot when ready.”

Produced by the band and mixed by Jacob Hansen, the album draws on classic power metal, thrash, high-energy synth rock and big orchestral soundscapes. It ends with a closer of nearly 13 minutes, split into four chapters, which may have the longest title in metal.

Gloryhammer’s tour with Majestica and Arion reaches the UK in November.
