Celebrating 15 years together, through both thick and thin, five-piece Saarland, West German thrash metal band Godslave has a new single and official video out entitled ‘Thrash ‘Till Death’.
‘Thrash ‘Till Death’ is a Destruction cover song wherein Godslave’s intention is to take their hats off to their role models and friends from that band. The track is taken from their forthcoming Champions due from Metalville Records and the first of several singles being served up as a constant stream of little gifts to themselves and their listeners right through to February 2025.
The centre of the band’s celebration for their 15th anniversary is the documentary Hinter Der Kulisse
That translates as “Behind the Scenes”. The film is said to give an unsparingly open and honest account of the reasons why the band almost didn’t make it. The celebration culminates with the release of the tribute album Champions, that is being prepared with a whopping four singles from November – Here Godslave open the backstage door wide to show which songs inspired them to make music, who their own champions are – one of the reasons why they turned the corner again as a band – their pure passion for music.
